IN THE BAG

INDONESIAN SUMATRA

With a typical Sumatra profile, this coffee has great body and good acidity. Clean earthy forest base notes with flavours of juicy cranberry, dark chocolate and dried fruits.

Mandheling coffee is an arabica coffee originating from the Mandailing area, near Bukit Barisan Mountains, North Sumatra. Most of the coffee processing is done by using the wet hulled or giling basah method. Giling Basah is the name of the traditional Sumatran process that involves grinding parchment from beans with a moisture content of about 50%. This unique process from Sumatra generates the trademark signature profile (low acidity and richness that stays behind the palate) and gives a jade green colour to the beans.

PNG SIGRI estate

We've been awaiting the arrival of this one with eager anticipation. Introducing the Sigri Estate Washed "B" from the Western Highlands of Papua New Guinea, near Mount Hagen. Sigri Coffee Estate was founded in the 1950’s by Tom Cole, a crocodile hunter and coffee farmer. The farm is situated in the flat and fertile Waghi Valley, at an altitude of over 1600 masl. This coffee is organically grown. This delicious bean will make for an excellent single origin espresso, or base for a premium blend.

UGANDA BISHU

Bugisu Washed Arabica is the most renowned of the Ugandan Arabicas. The crop is grown on the slopes of Elgon mountain range in three distinct areas, namely the Mbale, Sironko, and Kapchorwa Districts, and is thus found at varying altitudes, ranging from 1300 metres in the South, climbing up to 1900 metres in the Central and Northern Districts.

INDIAN ARIBICA AND CHERRY

Project Seven Sisters is a sourcing program that aims to showcase the exceptional coffee growing potential of the Northeast.

Despite the challenges posed by its remote location, the initiative seeks to highlight the unique flavors and attributes of the region's coffee, covering the states of Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, Manipur, Tripura, and Assam at present.
