The Story of Those Little Voices
Picture two cheeky Aussies in Kyoto, GPS dying, hunting a rogue roaster. No sign, just filter paper yelling “OPEN” taped to an apartment door. We knocked. Three hours later our taste buds were drunk on tiny-batch Japanese magic—Probat whirring, vinyl spinning, cups flying where precision met New Orleans sass.
That day the little voices shut up and a louder one roared: “Take this home.”
Those Little Voices was born. East slams West in every micro-roast: bold, quirky beans begging you to ditch the map, crank the record, and taste the detour.
A few of the Japanese roasters who have inspired us and put us on the road to find our own little piece of heaven.
